U.S. legislation to update children's products and residential upholstered furniture flame retardant restriction

Maryland and Washington state introduced a regulation on children's products and residential upholstered furniture flame retardant tris (2 - carboxyethyl ) phosphine TCEP and tris ( 2,3 - dichloro- propyl ) ester TDCPP 's proposal . The effective date of the proposal were in October 2014 and July 2015 .

April 1992 , an increase of three in California, No. 65 carcinogenic chemicals in the list of proposals (2 - chloroethyl ) phosphate (TCEP). In addition to other flame retardants , California will tris ( 2,3 - dichloro- propyl) phosphate (TDCPP) of chemical substances included in a list of 65 proposals . Since October 2011 the TDCPP included in the list , we reached a lot of consensus recommendations ; especially widely used in consumer polyurethane (PU) foam. February 2014 , Alaska , New York and Washington to submit proposals to regulate children's products and home furnishings -containing phosphate flame retardants.
